Sam Passalaqua, 94 of Turlock, died Dec. 13 in Turlock. He was born in 1916 in Wyandotte, Mich. He was a farmer for 80 years.

Sam is survived by his son, Alton “Butch” Passalaqua of Chino; daughter, Judith Rose of Chesapeake, Va.; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one great  great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irby Passalaqua; and son, Larry Ashby.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 20 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 21 at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park.
