Services for Shamoeil Baba, 71 of Turlock, are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5 at Saint Thomas Assyrian Chaldean Catholic Church, 2901 N. Berkeley Ave., Turlock. It will be officiated by Father Kmal Bidawid. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
Shamoeil Baba was born April 13, 1938 in Hamadan, Iran and died Nov. 30, 2009, in Turlock. He was a security guard for 21 years.
He is survived by wife of 42 years, Valentine Baba, of Turlock; son, David and his wife, Suzie, Baba of Turlock; daughter, Annamarie Baba of San Jose, Calif.; brother, Shamshun Baba of Valencia; sister, Lily Doving of Schaumburg, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
