Soledad Sosa, 76 of Westley, passed away on Sunday, with her family at her side. She was born in Tamazula, Durango, Mexico, to Everardo and Altagracia Sosa in 1933. Soledad has lived in the Westley area for 30 years. She enjoyed music, traveling, and socializing with family and friends. When needed, she gave a helping hand to anybody that needed help. Most of all, God and family were her life.
Soledad is survived by children Manuel Ojeda, Graciela Garcia, Maria Avila, Leopoldo Ochoa, Carlos Alberto Delgado, Natalia Villanueva, Roberto Villanueva, Daniel Villanueva, Arturo Garcia and Sergio Andres Garcia; 27 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Trinidad Villanueva; children Salvador Garcia and Sergio Garcia.
A visitation will be held from noon to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11 at Allen Mortuary, with a rosary following. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 12 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park
