Soleman Betmerza, 71, of Turlock, died on July 8. He was born in 1938 in Oroumich, Iran. When he moved to California he became a plumber.
He is survived by his wife, Chane Aziziordsi of Turlock; son, Lorens Betirza of Turlock; daughter, Rosemary (Edward) Anhar of Turlock; sisters, Simeh Bitmerza of Turlock and Rosa Betmerza of Oroumich, Iran; and two grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13 at Saint Thomas Assyrian Chaldean Catholic Church in Turlock. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
Services are under the direction of Whitehurst, Norton, & Dias Funeral Service of Turlock.
