Subedar Sarwan Singh Lasher passed away on July 13 in Los Banos. He was born on July 7, 1930 in the Village of Kabulpur, Dist. Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He was a man of great honor and dignity, and he lived a fulfilling life.
He is survived by four brothers; two sisters; wife, Gurdeep Kaur; sons, Tarlochan Singh, Kulwant Singh and Jaswinder Singh Lasher; daughters, Kamaljeet Kaur Mattu, Kulwinder Kaur Chhina and Surinder Kaur Sahota; and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 25 at Allen Mortuary, located at 247 North Broadway, Turlock. Following the funeral services, the final prayers will be held at Guru Nanak Sikh Mission, located at 884 B St., Livingston.
