Trudy Ann Coats, 60, passed away at Emanuel hospital in Turlock, CA on Wednesday, October 17th. She was surrounded by her loving family. 

Trudy was born in Turlock at the old Emanuel hospital on Canal St. She was born July 7, 1958 to Kenneth and Lucy Falkenberg. Raised at 2585 El Camino Dr. in Turlock, she attended Sacred Heart School from 1st through the 7th grade and graduated from Turlock High School. A stay at home mom, Trudy loved spending time with her family. 

A woman full of kindness and warmth, Trudy had a big heart. She loved helping those who were less fortunate than her. Trudy enjoyed volunteering at Good Samaritan and making boxes of food for the homeless. When she wasn’t sending her love out into the world, she could be found fishing, baking, thrift-shopping and attending yard sales. 

Trudy is survived by her mother, Lucy Falkenberg; her brothers, Dale Falkenberg and Danny Falkenberg; her sons, Daniel Coats and Ryan Coats; daughter, Lena Coats; daughter-in-law, Kelsey Coats; grandson, Daniel Coats; granddaughter, Sharon Coats; and Lena’s unborn twins, who Trudy was unable to meet but loved unconditionally already. 

Our mom was the greatest. She was always on our side no matter what. She was the most self-less person. She wanted so much in life, not for herself, but for the next person. She loved to go shopping and picked out things for everyone she loved. She was always so thoughtful to others needs. She will be missed so much.
