Velma was born in Kansas on May 10, 1932 and died on November 9, 2018.  Joyce moved from Kansas as a teen and eventually settled in the Turlock/Denair in California.  She met her husband of 59 years, William Thomas Myers and had three children Barry Myers of Denair, Brian Myers of Modesto and Brent Myers of Woodworth, LA.

Joyce enjoyed gardening, barbecues and bingo.  She enjoyed the music of Elvis, Fats Domino and Barbara Streisand.  She worked for Boies Drug Pharmacy for 20 years.  

Along with her three sons, Joyce is survived by two grandkids Amber Hart of Turlock and Kyle Myers of Woodworth, LA; two great grandkids Danye and Blayke Hart of Turlock.  She was preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Myers.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association.

Graveside service will be held at Turlock Memorial Park on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 10:00a.m.
