Virginia L. Andleman passed away on July 16, 2017 at age 89. Virginia loved reading and was passionate about cooking. She was a school teacher and enjoyed helping people learn. Amongst her many accomplishments, she was active in AAUW, Friends of the Turlock Library and the Modesto Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her husband John B. Andleman and daughter Mary. She leaves behind children Kathleen, John (Joy), and Suzanne; grandchildren Cecily, Benjamin and Grace; and great-grandchild Florence. The family wishes to express gratitude to the staff of Cypress Assisted Living, Samaritan Village and Community Hospice.  At her request, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Community Hospice, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA  95356.
