Heuer
William A. Heuer, 90, passed away at Vintage Faire Residential in Modesto on Saturday. He was born to James and Norma Heuer in Stevens Point, Wis. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II and moved to Livingston in 1946. He worked for E & J Winery Ranch for 43 years and retired as Ranch Manager in 1989.
He was a member of the Stevinson Fire Department, Hilmar Irwin-Stevinson Lions Club, Turlock Country Club, Turlock Masonic Lodge, Stockton Scottish Rite, Aahmes Shrine Temple Livermore, Turlock Shrine Club and E. Clampus Vitus. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golf.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Heuer in 1962; his second wife, Jean Sorensen Heuer in 1977; his son, James Heuer in 1992; and daughter, Kathy Heuer in 2000.  
He is survived by his daughter, Lynn Pierce of Hilmar; son, Pat Heuer of Modesto; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Home, 286 West Main St., Turlock. After the service  there will be a reception held at 15320 Vinewood, Livingston, CA 95334. Burial will be private.
