William Ozuna, age 74, died Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Alexander Cohen Hospice House.  William was born and raised in Hollister where he graduated from Hollister High School class of 1969. He enlisted in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge, he received his Bachelors Degree from CSU Stanislaus in 1972 and later received his Masters Degree. He was employed by California Stanislaus University as a Counselor Director until his retirement in 2003.  William belonged to the Turlock V.F.W. Post 5059; and the Military Order of the Cooties. William enjoyed fishing, camping, shakespeare festivals, dancing, and loved his family.

William is survived by his significant other Diedre Baxter of Castroville; three children James Parker of Turlock, Donald Ozuna of Santa Cruz, and Kellie Gerdes of Turlock; two brothers Edward of Citrus Heights and George Ozuna of Sparks, Nevada; four grandchildren Amanda Smithcamp, J-Jay Parker, Dillon Perales, and Lacey Perales; and six great-great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016, 4pm at Allen Mortuary located at 247 N. Broadway, Turlock, CA.
