William Paul “Butch” McNutt, 71 of Ceres died unexpectedly at his home.  He was born in Turlock to Oliver and Ruby “Boots” McNutt.  He was raised in Turlock where he attended schools and graduated from Turlock High.  He settled his family in Ceres where he has lived for over 50 years.  He worked for Proctor & Gamble for over 30 years as a Project Coordinator.
He enjoyed working in his shop, where could always be found, metalworking or repairing old farm equipment.  He was always willing to help anyone out in need.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice McNutt and his father, Oliver McNutt.
He is survived by his mother, Ruby “Boots” McNutt; his sons, Dale McNutt and Dan (Judy)McNutt; his brothers, Corky McNutt and Dan McNutt; his sister, Janice Alvord; grandsons, William Cody McNutt and Corey Daniel McNutt.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January 28, 2013 at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd, Turlock. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
