Turlock

William was born on the 28th of April 1935 in Detroit, Michigan. He was drafted to the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Opal in 1963 and was a carpenter for 50 years. He moved to Modesto in 1975 and settled in Turlock three years ago. He enjoyed woodworking and drawing.
He is survived by his children, Tina Hinckley of Modesto, Buck Hinckley of Modesto, Betty Swartz of Colorado, Robin Swartz of Nevada, Brenda Bailey of Modesto, and Billy Swartz of Turlock; 9 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren with one on the way. He also leaves behind one brother, Dale Stanley and one sister, Bonnie ODell. He is preceded in death by his wife Opal Swartz, daughter Penny Hinckley, two sisters and one brother.
