Wilma Bodin Andrews, aged 103,  died peacefully November 22, 2015 at home in Lynnwood WA.  She was born Wilma Vera Berg, June 17, 1912 to Charles and Ruth Berg in Sacramento CA.  She graduated from Sacramento High School in 1929 and went to work for Pacific Bell as a “number please,” operator where she worked until her marriage to Leonard Bodin in 1934.

Wilma moved with her husband Leonard to Turlock in 1937.  While her children were attending Turlock Schools, she was active in Girl Scouts and the PTA.  After her husband Leonard died in 1970, she moved to Fresno where she became first a sorority housemother; then a fraternity housemother and then a housemother for the first co-ed sorority/fraternity house on the Fresno State University campus in 1975.

She married Frank (Bud) Andrews in 1981 and moved to Twain Hart.  She had moved over 42 times in her life and she named their home in the mountains “Dun Movin.”  While living in Sonora with Bud she enjoyed attending plays at the Sonora Repertory Theatre and taking their 5th wheel on camping trips.  With an agile active mind, Wilma remained a reader and conversationalist and quickly made friends wherever she went.  She advocated reading at local schools in Sonora and was a pen-pal to students at Columbia Elementary School for one year.

Wilma is survived by her two children:  Bill Bodin, of Edmonds, WA; and Betty Viorel, of Merced CA; four grandchildren:  Christopher Bodin, Susan Bodin, Bradley W Millard and Katherine Willingham; four great grandchildren:  Bradley A Millard, Cortney Millard, Spencer Nolan and Colin Willingham; one great great grandchild, Kora Millard; and stepchildren:  Ken Andrews and Joan Heidt.  Wilma was preceded in death by her first husband Leonard Bodin, who died in 1970 and her second husband Frank J (Bud) Andrews, who died in 2007 and her brother Bill Berg.
