Services for Wilson Shimshoun Peera, 79, of Modesto, will be held at 10 a.m. July 28 at St. George Holy Apostolic Catholic Assyrian Church of the East in Ceres. Burial will be at Turlock Memorial Park following the funeral service.
Wilson Shimshoun Peera was born on July 1, 1930, in Mosul, Iraq and died July 24 in Modesto. He was a salesman for office equipment.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lucy S. Peera; sons, Dennis W. Peera of San Ramon and Ashur W. Peera of Manteca; daughter, May Peera-Ordonez of Chicago; sisters, Gladys Easa of Phoenix, Ariz. and Shamiran Malek of Florida; and three grandchildren.
