Yuriko Masuda, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend to many, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on August 15, 2016 at the age of 94.  As a longtime resident of the Cortez Japanese farming community (near Ballico, CA), Yuriko will be remembered for her loving and giving spirit to all she came in contact with. Her unwavering religious and spiritual beliefs were ever present in everything she did and everyone she encountered. She will truly be missed.

Yuriko is survived by her husband of 64 years, Kaoru Masuda; children Agnes (Bob) Kiyoi, Calvin (Kathy) Masuda and Ann Masuda (Russell Yamano); siblings Eiko (Ed) Matsuoka, Mitsuko (Walter) Morimoto, and Andrew (Marsha) Yamamoto; 6 grandchildren and 15 nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Rokutaro and Akio Yamamoto; brothers Kazuo, Kiyoshi and Peter Yamamoto.
