Dear Editor,

Please help to prevent the school shooter tragedies by informing your readers of the fact that nearly every shooter has been on (prescription) antidepressants. All such meds carry the same black box warning of increased: ideation of suicide, suicide, violence, homicide — at twice the rate of placebo.

Handgun control is not the answer — not drugging our youth will bring these incidents to an end. Only the severely depressed even improve beyond placebo. Exercise and counseling are more effective at treating / helping the mild to moderately depressed than drugs and are totally safe.
