Dear Turlock Journal,
Speaker John Boehner and House Republicans are running out of excuses for inaction on immigration reform.
Immigration reform has the votes needed to pass in the House today, but Speaker Boehner is now saying he can't move forward and chooses to blame President Obama.
There are millions of immigrants in our country who aspire to become citizens, but have no way of doing so under the current system. They need solutions, not more political games from Speaker Boehner and Republicans.
Millions of immigrants are suffering. I'm calling on Rep. Jeff Denham to be a leader and tell Speaker Boehner to bring immigration reform to a vote.
