It is my honor to write this letter in support of my friend Gil Esquer, a candidate for Turlock City Council District 2. Gil is a lifelong resident of District 2. He is a Turlock High School graduate and has been an active community volunteer for the past 40 years that I have known him. He has helped primarily with community food baskets, shopping for children in need, and fundraising needs of Turlock schools. He is generally in the background, but always as an informal leader who rolls up his sleeves to help others. Gil demonstrates solid and honorable values and will be a positive addition to our City Council. Gil is an excellent choice for Turlock City Council – District 2.
