I am a lifelong resident of Turlock and care for our community. I went to Turlock High and CSU Stanislaus. My kids attended school in Turlock. I think our city faces some of the same problems affecting the rest of California and the country. This is why I think Jess Self is a great candidate for state assembly.
I had the pleasure of working with Jess as she led local community organizing for LGBT organizations and the ACLU. As a public defender, Jess protected the constitutional rights of the most vulnerable people in Stanislaus. Jess is married to a marine veteran and understands the need for bipartisan cooperation at the capitol.
Jess has the skills as a leader to bring jobs to our city, make housing affordable, and improve schools for all of our kids. I cannot recommend her more.
