Josh Bernard has the skills needed to lead Turlock schools

A good public education system is one of our country’s great strengths. Unfortunately, I do not believe today’s public education is as good as it once was or as good as it should be. There are many reasons for this and many are beyond local control. However, a reason some districts excel over other districts is undoubtedly the leadership, dedication and knowledge of their school boards.
I am enthusiastically endorsing Josh Bernard for the Turlock School Board. Josh is a local businessman and Turlock resident with a strong commitment to the community and schools. Josh proudly served our country in the military. He has continued his community service as a graduate of Leadership Turlock and serves on the Board of Directors for the Western United Dairymen. In my opinion, Josh will be one of the hardest working and best informed board members. Josh’s proven leadership skills will help forge policies that best serve the interest of the district and students.
Josh and his wife Brooke are vested in Turlock with three young children entering the Turlock school system. Josh is exactly the type of person I desire to serve in such an important position.
