Dear Editor,
I have lived in Turlock for 54 years and have subscribed to the Journal most of my adult life. I have had mixed reviews of your paper over the years. Let’s just say, you’ve had your ups and downs. I have sometimes even been angered by your choices of coverage, your lack of editing and your writers' abilities.
Recently, however, you have made strides in your choice of writers. I am enjoying your paper much more these days. I just read a piece by Jaydeep Bhatia about the fair, “An eye opening visit to the fair.” He is a very gifted writer. His description of what he observed at the fair made me feel as if I was there with him! The sights, the smells, the sounds and even the emotions of the people he saw.
I have a new favorite Journal writer. Thank you, Jaydeep! Keep up the good work!
