The Turlock mayor position requires an individual that is committed, understands fiscal accountability, and has the necessary leadership experience to keep Turlock moving forward. The top elected office in Turlock is not a training position and taking 100 days to figure out what is going on is not acceptable. While others talk about economic development, Brem has been an active participant in Turlock’s recent successes in attracting hundreds of new jobs to Turlock as chair of the Turlock Planning Commission. He has first-hand experience in leading a successful international agri-business company that has created over 125 jobs in Turlock.

Brem’s strong commitment to improving the quality of life in Turlock extends past his 14 years of service on the Planning Commission and includes participation with Society for Handicapped Children, Rotary International, Turlock Economic Development Task Force, and chairing the Turlock Convention & Visitors Advisory Committee to name a few. Being involved is not just a campaign promise for Brem, but has been a priority since moving to Turlock 25 years ago.
