One of my favorite holidays of the year is the 4th of July. It is a special day where we as Americans despite our many differences all come together to celebrate what a great country we live in.. Two traditions in Turlock; our parade and 4th of July fireworks were really enhanced this year when the new President of CSU Stanislaus, Dr. Ellen Junn ,and her husband Alan Greenburg, not only hosted the 4th of July fireworks on campus, she fully participated in the parade accompanying Mayor Gary Soiseth on the entire route.
