Prop 50 is terrible for Californians
letter

In 2010, Californians overwhelmingly voted to establish a board of independent citizen commissioners to draw our State and Congressional district maps, prevent politicians from rigging our elections, and maintain fair and balanced representation in our Golden State.

Proposition 50, the so-called “Election Rigging Response Act”, would tear apart the commission that Californians voted for, give its power-hungry politician authors ultimate rule over the lines, and shut our voices down in favor of playing party politics. We will no longer get to choose who we elect, but instead they will be in charge of telling us who will represent us.

This is a dangerous precedent being set by bureaucrats and politicians in Sacramento, and we only have one chance to stop them this November.

We deserve a choice. We deserve our voice. Don’t let them take it away. Vote NO on Prop 50.
