Zwahlen will fight for Clean Air Act in Congress
Placeholder Image

I am very concerned about the threat to the Valley's air quality posed by the Trump administration's misguided attempts to abandon vehicle-mileage targets set by the EPA in consultation with California officials.

As an ER nurse for over 40 years, Congressional candidate Sue Zwahlen has seen, time and again, the impact of the Valley’s air quality on children’s health. Breathing issues caused by poor air quality can become chronic, life-threatening conditions. Nearly 400 children in California died from asthma last year, and one in eight children in Stanislaus and San Joaquin counties suffers from asthma.

In Congress, Sue will fight to defend the Clean Air Act, which holds California to a higher standard for vehicle emissions and saves lives. Please join me in voting for Sue Zwahlen and let’s make sure our voices are heard, for our kids and for our future.
