Schrier an All-American scholar

The Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars were announced by the GCAA last week and Cal State Stanislaus junior Teddy Schrier was one of 49 golfers in Division II to be selected.

Schrier is one of a pair of California Collegiate Athletic Association players to make the list, with Chico State's Eric Frazzetta being the other.

To be eligible for Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a junior or senior academically, compete in at least two full years at the college level, participate in 70 percent of his team’s competitive rounds or the NCAA Championships and have a stroke-average under 78 in Division II.

A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.
