Family, friends and local supporters of California State University, Stanislaus’ soccer program will have another opportunity to engage with players and show their team pride next month with the return of their fan festival.
The third annual Warrior Soccer Fan Fest is slated for Aug. 9 from Warrior Stadium on the Stanislaus State campus. It will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be free parking in Lot 8, near Fitzpatrick Arena off of the Geer Road entrance.
The event is described as “a family-friendly celebration,” of Stan State’s men’s and women’s soccer teams.
Attendees will be able to grab free schedule posters, snow cones, and prizes. Additionally, food trucks from Yogurt Mill and Tito's Taco Truck will be on site.
There will also be interactive soccer activities for children, led by Warrior soccer players, including a free Youth Soccer Clinic for those ages 5–12, and a 2vs2 Soccer Tennis Challenge for all ages. This clinic is not a drop-off event, and a parent or guardian must be present at all times.
A meet-and-greet and autograph session will also take place.
Registration is now open at www.WarriorAthletics.com/FanFest. Youth clubs are encouraged to attend together, as the club with the most members present will win a 2025 Warrior Soccer Season Pass.
The regular season kicks off on their home pitch in Turlock on Thursday, Sept, 4 with the women’s squad taking on Saint Martin's at 5:00 p.m. and the men's team playing Seattle Pacific at 7:30 p.m.
The men’s team went 7-6-5 last season, including a 3-4-4 record in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. The women went 10-8-2 overall and 6-5 against conference opponents a season ago.
