Twelve Warriors make USTFCCCA All-Region list

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association named All-Region honorees for outdoor track & field in Division II. Cal State Stanislaus placed 12 athletes on the list.
The top five from each region in individual events and each member of a relay ranked in the region's top three have earned the All-Region distinction for the 2012 outdoor season.
Highlighting the Warriors' selections are four pole vaulters and three hammer throwers. Dawson Vorderbruegge, Terrance Ellis and Kyle Maxwell are repeat winners for the second consecutive season.
Warriors named to the USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field All-Region Team:
• Conrad Deavellar, hammer
• Sulayman Diomande, decathlon
• Abdullah Dosu, long jump
• Terrance Ellis, 800m
• Ryan Gates, hammer
• Kyle Maxwell, pole vault
• Caleb Monticalvo, pole vault
• Mike Ortega, pole vault
• Dawson Vorderbruegge, 1500m
• Courtney Anderson, 3000m steeplechase
• Katie Busi, hammer
• Sian Morgan, pole vault

Despite hours of driving and speaking with supporters over the past day, Fresno State’s “Coaches Caravan” and athletics department pulled into the parking lot of Hilmar’s Great American Grill last Wednesday still full of energy for the last stop of their Rally the Valley tour.
