Former Cal State Stanislaus pitchers Eric Cendejas and Dakota Watts were both promoted last week to Double-A teams within their respective organizations.
Cendejas, who finished with the Warriors in 2010, moved up to the Arkansas Travelers, the Double-A affiliate for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Before his promotion, he pitched four games with the Orem Owlz in Utah, posting a 0.00 ERA in 7.1 innings of work out of the bullpen.

For the Travelers, he pitched a scoreless inning on Monday.
Watts, who was selected in the 16th round of the 2009 MLB First-Year Player Draft, was promoted to the New Britain Rock Cats of the Eastern League. So far this season, he is 2-2 with eight saves. He has posted 25 strikeouts in 33.1 innings.
Two other former Warriors are also doing very well in minor league baseball.

Marquis Fleming, a two-time minor league all-star, is 2-2 overall with a 2.77 ERA, striking out an astounding 78 batters in 52 innings for the Montgomery Biscuits of Double-A.

Andrew Stueve, who just recently finished an all-region season for the Warriors in May, has pitched 11.2 innings for the rookie league team of the Kansas City Royals, striking out 13 batters and posting a 0.77 ERA. After going undrafted in June, he signed with his organization on a free agent contract.
