Turlock High’s Ian Strode signed his letter of intent on Monday to compete in track and field at Cal Poly Pomona in front of friends, family and teammates at the New Science Building. Strode holds records this year in the 110-meter, high jump, pole vault and long jump. He set the record for pole vault and high jump all four years of high school. 

"I wouldn't be here without all the support everyone has given me," said Strode. "I was pushed to be the best that I could be."
