The Turlock Quarterback Club will host its Second Annual Alumni Dinner on Aug. 30 at the Turlock Ballroom, located at 528 N. Golden State Blvd., beginning at 5 p.m.
This year’s dinner will be held in honor and memory of Coach Time Sitala Sr., the beloved former offensive line coach at Turlock High School who passed away in October of last year.
“We chose to recognize Coach Time, our incredible O-Line coach, for the alumni dinner,” said Brandy Durkee of the Turlock QB Club. “As a coach, he was tough but caring - no-nonsense, yet always there for his players both on and off the field. Often, the linemen don't get the recognition they deserve for their hard work, but the truth is, linemen lead the way. Coach Time's dedication, guidance, and support made a lasting impact on our team, and we're grateful for the lessons he taught us about teamwork, perseverance, and character.”
Tickets are available for $75 per person or $750 for a table of eight. The evening will include a tri-tip and chicken dinner, open bar, live music, and both a silent and live auction.
All proceeds will benefit the Turlock High football program, helping fund athletic equipment, Thursday night team dinners, Saturday morning breakfasts, helmets, pads, and other essential needs for the athletes.
