California State University, Stanislaus’ Theatre department is performing the dreamlike play “Cloud Tectonics.”

In “Cloud Tectonics” Celestina de la Sol is a young woman who claims to be 54 years old and to have been pregnant for two years. When Anibal de la Luna picks up Celestina in a torrential storm, her arrival to his house literally makes the clocks stop, and that’s only where this enchanting and unconventional romance takes off.

The CSU Stanislaus play is directed by Professor Jere O’Donnell.

Shows are set for 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. All performances are in the CSU Stanislaus Mainstage Theatre.
