The Walnut Elementary Education Center is performing “The Little Mermaid” for their spring show.

The musical features students in 2nd through 6th grades as they tell the story of Ariel, her friends and their underwater adventures.

“All our musical students have been working hard since early January at learning their lines, music, songs, and dances,” said Walnut teacher Susan Allen. “We have had parents who have helped with costumes, set design and props. This year’s production will be one not to miss.”

Shows are at 6 p.m. March 27 and 28. Both shows start with a dessert.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at Walnut’s office at 4219 N. Walnut Rd. Proceeds from the shows will benefit Walnut’s Theater fund.
