The Turlock Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at a convenience store near the highway.

The robbery happened just after 12:30 A.M. Monday at the Arco AM PM at 2015 W. Main Street.

Two suspects came into the store and pointed guns at the employees. They ordered them to hand over the money from the register and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspects were described as either white or light-complexed Hispanics. They left the store in an older model red Honda Accord. They were last seen headed north on Walnut Road.

There were no injuries reported from the encounter.
