The Stanislaus County Auto Theft Task Force caught three suspected auto thieves during operations in Turlock over the last few days.

The first operation on Wednesday resulted in the arrest of Stacy Coslow, 27, and Albert Glancy, 34, both of Turlock.

The StanCATT agents were in the area of N. Golden State Boulevard and Monte Vista Avenue when they spotted a black 2004 Nissan Maxima that had previously been reported as stolen to the Turlock Police Department.

The agents requested the assistance of the police department and Turlock police officers attempted to make a traffic stop on the vehicle, but the driver refused to stop.

A short pursuit ensued before the driver decided to stop and surrender to law enforcement.

Coslow and Glancy were arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft, misdemeanor evading police and a probation violation. The vehicle was returned to the owner.

The second operation happened Thursday evening in the 1900 block of Noble Lane in Turlock and resulted in the arrest of Brent Jarvis, 33, of Turlock.

StanCATT agents found a 2006 Cadillac CTS parked in the neighborhood that had been reported to the Modesto area California Highway Patrol office as a stolen vehicle.

The agents set up surveillance on the vehicle and witnessed several subjects push it into a driveway.

StanCATT requested the assistance of several other law enforcement agencies and working with them took Jarvis into custody at the scene.

Jarvis was booked into Stanislaus County Jail on suspicion of vehicle theft and a probation violation.
