The Merced County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an armed robbery at a Delhi gas station early Friday. The robbery occurred around 2 a.m. Friday at the Delhi Five Star Travel Plaza at 15406 August Ave. The two masked me approached the store’s clerk when the clerk went outside. The robbers forced the clerk at gunpoint back into the store and on the floor facing a wall, said Merced County Undersheriff Jason Goins.
