A Turlock man was wounded in a drive-by shooting early Thursday.
The victim’s wound was not considered life-threatening, the Turlock Police Department reported.
The shooter remains at large.
The shooting was reported just after midnight in the 400 block of West Avenue South.
The victim was walking along the avenue when someone in a red sedan, possibly foreign made fired a gun at him, striking him once.
The victim did provide police a statement, but did not know who shot him, said Turlock Police Sgt. Russell Holeman.
The shooting is believed to be gang-related.
