The vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run from Nov. 6 is similar to this model of Hummer and will have front-end damage.

The Turlock Police Department continues to seek information on the driver responsible for a hit and run collision that killed a 33-year-old Turlock man on Nov. 6.

The fatal collision happened just before 6 p.m. on Nov. 6, in the 3100 block of West Christoffersen Parkway and claimed the life of Shane Hurst, 33, of Turlock.

Hurst was walking his bicycle across W. Christoffersen when he was struck by a light-colored Hummer (H2) that was headed eastbound, said Turlock Police spokeswoman Dominique Sanchez.

The driver of the Hummer fled the scene immediately after the collision, headed eastbound, according to witnesses.

The Hummer is believed to be a 2003-2009 model and will have front-end damage.

When officers arrived on scene, they located an unresponsive male, later identified as Hurst, laying in the center median with severe head trauma. Hurst was rushed to a local hospital and died shortly after arrival.
