Guilty verdict for heroin dealer

A Stanislaus County Superior Court jury convicted a Turlock man of drug charges following a four-day long trial.Alen Youkhahna was found guilty of possession of heroin for sales and possession of concentrated cannabis, according to the district attorney’s office.Youkhahna was arrested on Feb. 6, 2009, after a citizen called the Turlock Police Department to report a suspicious vehicle parked outside a business with multiple people getting in and out of it. A patrol officer was sent to the area and made contact with Youkhahna, the driver of the vehicle. Youkhahna was found to be in possession of several packages of heroin and concentrated cannabis. A search warrant was then served on Youkhahna’s home by the TurlockNarcotics Enforcement Team, where officers found nearly $10,000 in cash and items used in the sale of heroin.A sentencing hearing is set for Aug. 12. Youkhahna faces a maximum of four years and eight months in state prison.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation shut down the “smash or pass” website that was allegedly illegally created by Turlock High student Rikio Sauter.
An 18-year-old Turlock High student was arrested Tuesday after allegedly creating a website that shared photos of fellow students and encouraged them to rate one another’s attractiveness.
