The WestAmerica Bank at 8019 Lander Ave. in Hilmar was robbed Wednesday afternoon, the Merced County Sheriff’s Office reported.
At 2:39 p.m. Wednesday an adult male entered the bank and walked up to an available teller and made a demand for money.
Once the robber had the cash in hand, he fled from the bank.
The robber was wearing a face mask, black beanie hat, a gray T-shirt and khaki-colored pants.
