The Turlock Police Department is holding a contest for National Night Out.

National Night Out is an event designed to promote crime prevention awareness among neighbors. Citizens are asked to plan block parties, barbeques, church events or social gatherings to promote neighborhood unity. Each party that registers with Turlock Police will receive visits from Turlock Police and Fire members as well as other exciting guests and giveaways for the kids.

This year people who register their party with Turlock Police will be entered in a drawing for various prizes such as a bounce house, pizza the night of the event, Prime Shine carwashes and more.

For more information or for an entry form, contact Crime Prevention Community Service Officer Taryn Weatherford at 656-3153.
