A 32-year-old Turlock man is recovering from stab wounds he sustained during an attack and his acquaintance is facing an attempted murder charge, the Turlock Police Department reported.
The suspect in custody was identified as 29-year-old Robert Clinton of Turlock.
The police department did not release any information as to what spurred the attack, but did say Clinton and the victim were acquaintances.
The alleged attack happened shortly before 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of Carmichael Way.
The police department said the victim was stabbed several times with an undisclosed object. He was able to get away from his attacker and ran to his home, which was located nearby, and contacted the police.
