Two men are being charged with robbery after allegedly stealing a digital tablet from a man’s truck Thursday morning and threatening him with sticks.

According to the Turlock Police Department, Marlo Variste, 19, and David Price, 19, were seen stealing a tablet from the victim’s work truck in the 2000 block of Julie Avenue.

The victim gave chase after the two men until they threatened him with a stick, the police department reported. However, officers were arriving at the scene and took the two men into custody.

The tablet was returned to the victim.
