A coordinated effort by the Turlock Police Department and the Recording Industry Association and the Movie Picture of America Association to target those peddling in pirated movies and music resulted in numerous arrests and the confiscation of hundreds of bootlegged material.

The agencies launched the sting operation at the Turlock Flea Market on East Avenue Tuesday morning and arrested 10 individuals on piracy-related charges. All 10 were booked into the Stanislaus County Jail. Their names have not been released at this time.

All the bootlegged material was confiscated.
