A tip that a Turlock home was being used to cultivate marijuana led to the confiscation of hundreds of plants and the arrest of one person.

The Turlock Narcotics Enforcement Team received a tip that a home in the 2700 block of Del’s Lane was being used to grow marijuana. After some investigation, the team searched the home on the afternoon of July 31.

Inside the home the team found more than 250 marijuana plants growing under a system of lights and irrigation hoses.

All the plants were seized and 54-year-old Dana Brant Papadopolous was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of marijuana and possession of marijuana for sales.

As of Tuesday afternoon, there were no charges filed against Papadopolous, according to court records.
