Robbery at Turlock check cashing store

The Turlock Police Department is looking for the man who robbed a check cashing store at knifepoint Wednesday evening. There were no injuries reported in the robbery, said Turlock Police spokesman Lt. Steve Webb. The robbery was reported shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Check into Cash business at 1641 Lander Ave. The suspect brandished a knife at an employee during the encounter and forced the employee to the back of the business, Webb said.
