Subject wanted for questioning in fatal Waterford hit and run

The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department is asking for assistance in locating Tony Gutierrez Macias, 20, of Waterford. Macias is a person of interest in the fatal hit and run that occurred Sunday in Waterford. 

Deputies had been dispatched to a fight in the 500 block of E St in Waterford around 1:30 a.m. Sunday. When deputies arrived they found Blake Barry, 20, of Oakdale, who was unresponsive and laying in the street. Witnesses stated the Barry had been struck by a vehicle that had fled the area prior to deputies arriving. 

Barry was transported to Oak Valley Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. 

A second victim, whose name is still being withheld, was also located at the scene with non-life threatening injuries after being struck by the same vehicle. 

Witnesses stated a dark colored Nissan car was responsible for hitting the two victims and was seen fleeing the area. Detectives have identified the vehicle as being a 2007-2009 Nissan Altima.
