Suspect misses ex-boyfriend, hits pole

A woman's ire with her ex-boyfriend turned violent when she tried to run him over with her vehicle, the Turlock Police Department reported.

The woman has been identified but her name is not being released at this time. She is actively being sought for arrest on assault charges.

The police were called to the scene of Lander Avenue and D Street shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday.

According to the police report, the suspect was trying to hit her ex-boyfriend with her vehicle and drove at him several times.

One of those attempts led to the vehicle hitting a building and smashing into a utility pole.

The suspect fled the scene before police officers arrived.
