Suspect wanted for robbery at Walgreens

The Turlock Police Department is investigating a robbery where pain medications were taken from the Walgreens in Turlock by a man threatening he had a gun.

The robbery was reported shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday at the Walgreens at 1591 Geer Rd.

The suspect entered the store and asked to see a manager for the pharmacy, said Turlock Police spokesperson Sgt. Russ Holeman.

The suspect told the manager he had a gun and ordered the manager into the pharmacy area, where he proceeded to take multiple bottles of pain pills.

No gun was actually seen during the robbery.

The suspect was described as a white male in his 40s to 50s standing about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a gray shirt and pants. He fled the area on a white Chevy Silverado single cab pickup truck, possibly a 90s model.
