Suspected burglar apprehended
Eduardo Carbajal

A man caught in the act of burglarizing a Turlock residence was arrested Tuesday after fighting and running from Turlock Police officers twice.

At noon on Tuesday the Turlock Police officers were dispatched to the 4300 block of Bardini Way after witnesses reported seeing a man break into a home.

Officers arrived and found Eduardo Carbajal, 26, coming out of a backyard on Dancer Way with a stolen bicycle, according to the police report.

Carbajal dropped the bike and took off running. The officers caught up to him and he fought with them, allowing him the break away and run again.

Officers caught Carbajal at the canal bank near Taylor Road, where he once again fought with the officers. This time he was restrained and taken into custody.

Carbajal was booked into Stanislaus County Jail on a charge of burglary, resisting arrest, and a parole violation.
